I’m reading an article by Luis G. Pedraja titled: Doing Christology in Spanish. Since my upbringing is in the Spanish church I found myself resonating with certain themes.
Pedraja discusses how Hispanic biblical interpretation/hermeneutics is very much influenced by the nuances of language. Pedraja provides the following example,

Esperanza USA is organizing Hispanic Clergy from around the nation for a visit to the White House on March 23rd. This will entail a discussion on legislation (H.R. 4437) that could possibly criminalize clergy for serving illegal immigrants.
